Atlungstad Brenneri is a national industrial cultural heritage site, with an exciting history deeply rooted in the Mjøsa region’s fertile soil. The distillery was first established in 1855, and then as Atlungstad Brænderi – a cooperative run by farmers from Stange. In autumn 2011, it was brought back to life with test production of a local spirit. Since then, the Atlungstad spirit has been produced on an annual basis.
The guided tour covers the full production process. Tasting and talks for groups available by appointment.
